Relatives and Friends from Hell.

Do you have a bad experience with relatives or friends? I have these relatives and friends that have drained me before ,both emotionally and financially .I decided to cut my ties ,either completely or tone down my relationships with them. What I have come to realize is that some people will bring you down to their level, out of jealousy, just to laugh at you/because they will never amount to something. Note, that there are also good relatives and bad friends .Lets share some of those experiences ,it will open our eyes.

If your relatives are bad, so are you. You are born of the same stock. Pole.

Not necessarily true… Remember Joseph and his brothers…

You are a man for godsake. After attaining a certain age and life experience, you should surf through life on medieval monk style, by being emotionally and mentally self sufficient.

It’s about being stoic towards life, and knowing that the best friend you will ever have is the person looking at you in the mirror.

Joseph? WTF? His dad cheated his older brother out of his inheritance! That his sons were that fucked up is just genetics. Swindlers beget swindlers. Joseph later put a golden cup in their sack. They could have been killed.

At times you comment out of your ass

Really, if you are self sufficient why don’t you exist on your own?

What if you decide to be different yourself?

True but that’s a hekaya.

He is shallow minded. Never tends to think of others but what he believes is true for himself.

Umeamua kubonga mavi aisee?

Kama tu wewe

@Jimit = @Agwambo = @Nyamgondho = uncircumcised homosexuals

Live your life. Be independent. Wachana kutegemea watu

Please read again what I said. ""should surf through life on medieval monk style, by being emotionally and mentally self sufficient"".

The operative word being emotionally and mentally self sufficient… How could you possibly interpret that to mean existing on your own?

Your mental and emotional state is a very intimate and personal aspect that can be built solely on your own free will without validation from others.

However, if you think you need emotional validation to exist as a man, I have no problem with that. To each his own.

With relatives you engage them from a distance… the will smile with when you are in shit but once you start winning the narrative changes.

Have you ever achieved such levels of emotional and mental sufficiency without support?
We are not talking about validation here .You brought a topic about self sufficiency, I challenged that. We live as a community, we want that sense of belonging to a group, that’s why we have families/are born into families and we have social support systems .We seek love/emotional support from those close to us .Are you emotionally self sufficient as you claim? Can you exist all by yourself and satisfy your emotional needs?

Hehehhe… But they were not killed… Dude… Unaona vitu from an interesting perspective…

I think there is a difference between emotional and social capital. The latter definitely needs other people. The former, doesn’t necessarily rely on other people but you. This also applies to mental capital…though this may or may not be affected by people, structures and environments around you

Can you be self sufficient as alluded above ,emotionally or mentally by your own? You pointed out rightly that depends on the people you surround yourself with/relationships and environment .I was challenging the notion that one can rely on oneself without influence from outside.
