So…back in 2017 I acquired a bmw and soon got into some minor troubles with check engine warnings and a stall.
With my secondary school power mechanics background, I got interested in figuring out how it works. So with the help of the internet, I got myself busy and started researching and reading up on mechanical and electrical car systems.
Soon I had a problem with my rotors, and with the little knowledge I had and big balls, I bought some spanners, ordered spares and replaced them myself!! Then some friends got wind of what I had done and began bringing in their cars to be looked at or serviced.
Life if a journey. Now we can program DMES, Tune BMW ECUs, Do car AC systems e.t.c
My speciality is electronic systems. Anything wires and control units I will take interest. Bolts and nuts I leave to my mboys and partners.
It has been a journey, very interesting journey. If you own a BMW now or in the future, this fake makanika can help. Maybe one day in the future I will do this fulltime. For now I am typing from the office at my day job:D
congrats birrionaire, i cam to realize in kenya watu get scared of na peoples opinions kuna forum niko mukuru bmw huitwa maflatbeds VW nimacheck engine lights tu, nissan juke huitwa chura ugly, and so on, they made me fear bmw and i shifted my interest to a merc
I remember reading that first post and I could see the excitement was there and future agony was also coming. However you used that agony the best way possible. Learned from it, rectified the problem and most importantly its now a business to do the same for others. Congratulations. There is hope in Ktalk after all.
I can certainly testify indeed @ochithunder is a passionate guy and a go getter. Honest friend and a solution provider. Meet him during the inception of the autogarage business and sold him the very laptop he is using. Kudos bro. My BMW is still in high seas. Referrals are guaranteed.
