A sign on room A says “The sign on Room B is true and the gold is in Room A”.
A sign on Room B says “The sign on Room A is false and the gold is in Room A”.
Assuming there is gold in one of the room, which rooms contains the gold?

read this part
A sign on room A says “The sign on Room B is true and the gold is in Room A”.
A sign on Room B says “The sign on Room A is false and the gold is in Room A”.

You said it’s in room B?

So room A sign was false about having the gold. And possibly also false about room B sign telling the truth.

But if A lied about the gold being in B and also lied that B is telling the truth. That means B wouldn’t tell the truth. That means when B says A is lying. A is not really lying and actually has the gold in room A.

Anyway. You probably right. I’ll think about these double negatives tomorrow
