After i turned 28 most rock music sounded terrible. While not rock in the strict sense, i still have a soft spot for these guys and this track:
Just the beginning of this song takes me to a place…
One of the few madonna tracks that make sense. maybe coz it’s 95% copied? hmm
i preferred this by the same guys. It was more about the drums than anything in this era and genre of music:
it was a very good cover version
Higher was more of my track. Hizo guitar wacha tu
this was the golden age of rock.

Never made it as a wise man
I couldn’t cut it as a poor man stealing
Tired of living like a blind man
I’m sick of sight without a sense of feeling
It was a definitely fun time but i wouldnt call this the golden age…or rock for that matter. This jams were a little too pop and i think i realised it even then…maybe some new-rock (if such a thing exists). I think the golden age of rock was back in the 80s and early 90s with AC/DC, Van Halen, Guns-N-Roses…although others will suggest you would have to go back further to the 70s to find real rock.
This is what i personally think rock should sound like:
yes I get your point… hizi rock za hawa i find too distracting/ hardcore
