Rookie Biker Concerns

Hey guys… i’m learning how to ride a motorcycle and looking to buy one this year. What things should i look into before making a purchase and how do i get road ready??

you want to do boda boda business?

No… for day to day commute

Hope you are learning from reputable driving school. i.e. Rocky, Glory, AA… As a starter max speed should be 40kph and increase to maxumum of 60 when you are fully acclimatized. if you’ve good internet check on youtube on safe driving tips…How to ensure you are visible to other road users, braking do’s and don’ts etc…

Cheers for this… I’m actually learning from my friend who is a biker, and i’ll go to a driving school to take the exam. I’ve found a few channels that focus mostly on the starter bikes one can try out but none on the bikers’ awareness and road readiness, any ideas??

joining too soon

Huh??

I pray that you arent in Nairobi, the drivers here drive like mad men who can hit you without giving a fck!!

That’s why you have to go to a driving school. Basic road rules are well defined and taught there.

Go to John Irungu of inked biker rider training. I hear he’s the best around.

Rule 1, don’t cheap out on safety.
