Rooting Nokia 3

Which is the safest way of rooting Nokia 3 with minimal danger of bricking?

If you want root, buy Xiaomi, oneplus, pixel. Nokia wachia wazee

I don’t know whether this is a complement or an insult. Not sure how I feel about this.

Kabisa. Bought one for my grandma over the weekend

People who root, what’s your specific reason for doing so? I mean, back in the day it was mostly because people wanted better software that wasn’t being offered out of the box. But things have really changed and most vendors are getting lots of stuff good.

just stay with your unrooted device na utuwache with our rooted phones

If you have a wife, rooting enables you to hide compromising apps like Tinder or Badoo.
You can hide them inside an ‘app’ labeled calculator.
This is still impossible to do on an unrooted phone.

Says Kennedy Maina,I do that on my unrooted phone. App developers are making all this stuff easier for us. Every app is a calculator now.

Samsung has Secure Folder which should serve the same purpose right? Besides, I don’t have a wife.

Hahaha. You know the grass is always greener on the other side.

Rooting is overrated

Doesn’t serve the same purpose. Secure folder is clearly labeled ‘Secure Folder’. Everyone can tell there’s something you’re hiding.
The point is to hide apps in plain sight so there’s no suspicion. eg. hiding Tinder under ‘Calculator’ or ‘Audio manager’.

You can do us a favor and give us the name of this app. Because I’ve done thorough research on this and came back empty.
Every app that works as it should requires root. The unrooted ones can only hide folders and files but not apps.

Nova launcher can hide apps or change names

Maybe you should interact with the new Nokia devices. My personal favorite is Nokia 6.1

I share the feelings , I’m a millennial and I love the Nokia on Android vibe

You cannot unlock their bootloaders. Without bootloader unlock you cannot flash a custom recovery which means no root. So ni simu za wazee, might consider them when they allow bootloader unlock

Pure android means the device is rooted already so why root it further…there is nothing you cannot install there. Anyway it was just advisory.
