Malls every where hata meru wanajenga mbili which are just 200 m apart

Consumerism in Kenya is on the rise. Watch how the bubble will burst in a few years

the location of that mall is not favourable, if they charge a lot on the rent wataona chida

There is no bubble.

Hii ni mall ama apartment?

Consumerism ni bubble tena? Yaani unasema kununua sabuni, mkate, maziwa na tp ni bubble waiting to burst?
Lakini hii mall tenants watajaa kweli au that other building ni office block

No. I don’t mean consumerism is a bubble. Lol, how is that even possible. I’m referring to the construction of Malls everywhere as a bubble waiting to burst, Most malls are empty especially in Nairobi.

On the contrary, I think the location is perfect. A bit out of town… will ease congestion in the CBD, kwanza hio parking space for 500 vehicles

As long as you locate retail stores inside the mall for cosumer daily shopping, the malls are fine.

Ile mall nahurumiaga ni kale kakitu ka muhindi pale Embakasi. Hako hakasaidiki.

People started upuzi ya stalls in nairobi and it spread to karatina. Everyone who was building business units turned them into stalls, some renovated existing business rentals into stalls. Guess what? Half of them are empty coz no one is ready to pay a 2 by 2 metres space for 8k while a 10 by 8 is going for the same price. Na nyeri pia same case, thats a summary of how a bubble bursts

Hata kiambu mall is almost complete.

Waah, all these malls deng!

location is key hapo penye iko hakuna flow ya watu sana na eldoret haKuna cash flow kama ya nairobi.

jazeni zionmall kwanza…there’s also another one coming up 200m from Rupa mall and 100m from Zion mall i foresee loss for the owners of this buildings

I know that picture gives you a hard on, Mr. mall connoisseur ama namna gani>

Hehe itabidi nimetuma ambassadors sasa

Maoni tu, but to create the market, a way may be to make credit very easy and convenient to acquire, and condition people into being reliant on credit. Only later will people realise that easy and convenient credit is very expensive in the long run.
