Yesterday I visited my cousin who lives a few metres behind TRM in a descent estate. Good thing is that the area is covered with Safaricom Home Fibre and to say that its good is an understatement. It was excellent, fast speeds and no buffering we even streamed a 1080P HD movie and there’s no where it buffered. Crystal clear pictures and good for use. I would like to be connected too to the Saf Home Fibre but bado haijafika mahali mimi nastay. Saf is advantageous since it has bundle going for 2499/- a month while the cheapest offer from Faiba is 5k for 30 Mbps
You can take zuku as well, 20mbps 4699, but ukilipa mapema for three consecutive months unapewa hata 20% discount and they bump up your speeds to 30mbps. But pia wako na 10mbps for 3500. I know some guys have had a bad experience with them but I must be the lucky few with no bad experiences with them
I switched to safcom jana. It made me a little sad as I had developed some attachment with them .
I was on 20mpbs in Zuku and I subscribed to Safcom 10mpbs and it feels the same.
There is a time I contemplated doing that on a cold Sunday morning. Called safcom and it turned out my area is not served by their faiba. Guess will just continue on zuku 20mbps. If it feels the same that is great, I was a little worried I may notice a drastic difference
