Saidieni NV. Pombe itanimalisa

Manze of late i am not in control of my drinking. Due to the nature of the work i do, I go to work like 3 times a week and most of the days am usually free unless on few occasions when my boss is around the city which happens to be like 10days in a whole month. It has not reached a point where i feel its affecting my health or personal life but i think if i keep doing at this rate ill end up there. Shida ni of late i have to drink quite more than the usual to feel in the zone. Hata asubuhi youll find me sipping as i watch telly. In all truth i feel most alive when i drink. It uplifts my mood. Umeffi ya nv keti pale msiniletee,

1.accept you have a drinking problem.
2.Change your friends.
3 Hapana weka stock ya pombe kwa nyumba .

Vile pamba amesema

number 2 ni hard sana.

Its you to change the situation, hakuna usaidizi utapata kwa wengine

You sound like you are comfortable but get busy. Most people become alcoholics because of boredom.Get some side hustle ie a business you can run…at kama nikiuuza njugu or take time to learn new skills the list of things you can learn these days is endless or you can take up a more engaging role in your job. You can also apply a part time gig in some other company and Last and least get a a few kingurus, spinning plates Will keep you on your toes. Remember you can’t just stop an addiction untill you replace it with a different activity.

… Na lazima uketi…

This helps but Unless he figures out why he drinks a lot and solves it, it Will be very hard.Alcolism is a symptom of an underlying problem…

Talk it out with a person who is ready to listen to you and also find medical help.

Get some income earning activity to do when not at work. Yani keep yourself busy. Idleness and money will in most cases lead you to a pub

Register for some course, like Masters or degree.
Attending classes and revising will keep you busy.

Unajua pombe haijawahi tafuta mtu, wewe ndio huitafuta. Ball is in your court.

Eish Dr Dre

Your drinking is just a symptom. kuna shida ingine mahali. wen out of your job find work to do. 4 days in a week you are idle. get a hot young girl and get busy, may be. start a business to occupy you those 4 days. work out during your free time. Get occupied

Kunywa kapsaaaaa…kwani EABL watauzia porcupine pombe…
Enroll in a fitness center

All has been said.

I agree wit this. He says ati asubuhi anawatch telly. that’s too much idle time on his hands. Let him get busy.

Step 1 I disagree- I don’t think he has a drinking problem.
Step 2 I disagree too- He hasn’t mentioned anywhere his friends influence his drinking. In fact he says he sips as he watches telly. Meaning he’s alone
Step 3 I partly disagree- Many people myself included always have stock ya pombe kwa nyumba yet we don’t drink everyday.

The main problem for this talker is that he has a lot of free time and he may be lonely. Solution is to find something else to be doing during his free time and maybe get a woman. Do a quick research on your campus buddies and you will realise that quite a number were binge drinking in campus but the moment they got jobs, the drinking reduced to weekends because time is not there anymore.

Pombe sio mbaya in this case, your idleness is the problem and I wonder why? Mimi sijawai lala even a day without some alcoho in the system, 2 beers atleast but in all this, I can’t drink with the sun as a witness unless it’s a weekend or a celebration. Hii yako jaribu kupunguza by keeping yourself busy na uoe kama bado hujaoa.

Wewe umekosa focus kwa maisha. Ndio maana unaangalia tv mchana. Think about your life and where you want to be in the future. Then take actions that will make you achieve your goals.
