Birds called Mīthū have invaded my Tomato and sukumawiki farm and almost destroyed everything. i have tried erecting scarecrows, reels of video tapes etc in vain.
years ago we used to just cut a pawpaw in half, apply some pesticide called Furadan and it killed them like nobody business.
Now i hear it was been banned after some fuackin Massais used it to kill lions.
Someone help me where i can get the Furadan or recommend an alternative to exterminate these birds which seem to have no natural predator coz we need to feed the nation for a peaceful n healthy election.

Had same problem with those fuakin long tail birds on my backyard vegetable garden.
Solution was to purchase those second hand nets from naivasha. They are used at the flower farms and sold on streets after they retire.
So I simply did a "mboga ndani Motho nje!!"
yeah they have long tails! na hazina aibu, imagine they even perch on "kamau wa mboga" scarecrow

Furadan was banned long time ago worldwide due to its chemical residue. Mîthũ are bad news, they always harvest my plums before they are ready. Remedy is just scaring them away and destroying their roosts
