si ungezoom in on the Equity Bank tattoo on her skin ndiyo tuamini…
@nairobilay your CSI services are required here…

IMO, they are overpaid. What special skills do they have? My grandma can comfortably count a million. sembuse wao na wako na machines! They should be paid kitu 20k like barmaids ama cashier wa hoteli.

On the other hand, the CEO is wearing his brains ensuring the bank makes profit. complies with CBK requirements, gets more customers, etc.

Unataka walipwe mangapi? would 150k be enough? Most of these banks transact more than kshs. 5million a day, in a month teller amehandle on average more than kshs 50 million, 150k would still be 0.3% of all the cash they handled, acha kufikiria Kama maembe Jay.

FYI I know a Teller at National Bank alikuwa anaget 75k per month

Its not only in banks that there are poor salaries you will be supprised if you heard from other industries. But you know this is kenya where even getting a job is like striking a gold mine.Buttonline is as it is now its very straining to survive in kenya with one source of income.

Sasa weka za other sectors so that we compare

hiyo pesa ni mob sana, not forgetting the low interest loans they get

I have kids. and my househelp also has kids. Shoul i pay her 50k just because she has kids? Salary paid is determined by the amount of work done and the skills needed to do the work. Period. Cashiers just require basic maths and computer skills. So, paying them like a clinical officer is …obscene.

I have a cousin doing academic writing hua ananiambia “Watu wa suti hawana kakitu” hehe but she backs it up, she makes more than tripple what those bank tellers make

Now i understand why it took me only a week kumanga an equity bank teller wa Forex.I was just trying my luck but to my surprise, dame alikubali coffee Java haraka sana
