Anything without AMOLED is pure chieth

Side by side they are at par. In the long term Samsung Galaxy A30 is expensive if you don’t know how take care of your phone. Cost of fixing Samsung Screens is double for Huawei

In that category it may be tricky, you need someone who has actually used both phones to be able to decide. Is suggest you go to gsm arena, and YouTube hands on reviews.

Any suggestions for midrange"AMOLED" screen phones? I consume a lot of visual material e.g. reading so screen quality trumps pure speed for me (I have minimal interest in games)… Is it better to go for a 2019 midranger or a 2017 flagship e.g. a Note?

2019 Galaxy A Series have 6" AMOLED screens and prices start from ~25k
