Never was an ipod or apple products person. Sipendi constraints. Na apple iko nazo mingi sana. Starting with financial constraints hadi technological unfriendliness. My linear programming haikua inaeza nisaidia kumanage my meagre resources coz apple constraints were just choking, and still are.

So I always went with Creative Zen.

Vinyl players are here to stay. The latest models are even more expensive than a good audio system; and quality is superb… Long live record players…

True, and I think its the production cost that makes them that expensive, but now that more companies are venturing in (and others back), I see prices changing soon. Time will tell anyway…

I considered the Zen but was out of my range :oops:. Shout out to Sandisk Sansa - when all my rich classmates had Apple iPods and iTunes accounts (and North Face jackets), a Sansa helped me enjoy my limewire downloaded MP3s. The Sansa cost 1/8 of the iPod and had FM.

Walkman CD players were going for about 2-3K back then. Box yangu ilipigwa butterfly walkman ikaenda, I had to join the palito gang.
