This MY take about life
We have three Worlds, THE Earth, the Spirit World and Heaven.
The spirit world is divided into two, the dark side and the light side. those on the light side can crossover into the dark side but the dark sided guys cannot cross to the light side.
From the spirit world one can go to heaven or back on earth.
Those who come back on earth come with only one reason to purify their souls so that they can transition into heaven
The souls in the spirit world Know God. God’s name is never mentioned in vein there because of it’s Holiness and God’s Power
The Light Souls are requested to come back into this world while the Dark souls beg and struggle to come back here.
Before coming here, one is given a time-line to complete his work this is called your lifespan. the rider is that once here everything is given unto you both Virtues and vices are instilled in you. the worldly things are made so enticing and worth fighting for. The memory of the Spirit world is erased from your system and you enter into a human body.
One’s ability to balance Virtues and Vices (all in God’s eyes) will determine on which side you will end up once your time elapses.
LINANIsm religion. Religious stuff is cumbersome - so many beliefs and ideas of truth. A commission should be formed to verify the truths before they become basis for any religion, a tough call. Hehe.
How do you figure this? Assuming you use the bible as a basis, you have a clear reference of the devil talking to God in heaven about Job and how to tesa him?
Isnt that the clearest indication that the dark ones can cross over to the light side?
*Ps: I may be wrong on that reference of the devil meeting up with God in heaven to discuss Job. My bible study is still rusty and im still waiting on @Purr_27 to tutor me. Either way, im assuming Satan would have gone to God’s digz to discuss the issue
I concede there is a God (with limit as i put forth in my other posting), although I dont believe in a devil, i do acknowledge there is evil but not personified as a person
If theres no devil then what is the source of evil? If we are the source, and were created in his likeness doesnt that make him the source of evil? If theres a devil wasn’t he also created by god? Na wakristo msinichome ni swali tu…nielimishine tafadhali
I would say yes we are the the source of evil stemming from free-will, which indemnifies God. My analogy would be, if you willfully go run over several pedestrians with your Prado, Toyota as the “creators” are not the source. But if the Prado you have has a fault, that makes you turn of the road and plow through the raia then they are the source.
Its a very simplistic notion i know (i haven’t fully thought it through) so im sure the flaws in the argument will come swiftly :rolleyes:
Evil sprouted on its own due to luficer’s pride stemming from the possibilities arising from his free will. God will never do any violence to man’s free will and this creates the potential space for evil to flourish.
I also believe that when it comes to matters faith, futile curiosity won’t be of any benefit to you. It’s either you believe or you don’t. Apart from Lucifer, man’s sensual lusts are also sources of evil.
One of the reasons that God permits evil to flourish is to enable man to witness firsthand how nasty life is in the absence of God. This, in my view, also offers man a chance to ‘watch’ a preview of how Lucifer’s kingdom is like(hatred, evil, horror, etc).
Supposing something miraculous happened and everyone in this planet loved his/her neighbor the way he/she loves himself/herself. Are you convinced that evil would just miraculously disappear away??? Are you convinced that hunger would simply fade away??
God has given man an opportunity to create a little paradise here on earth but a proud man, as usual, will always be a ‘mjuaji’. And he will continue paying terribly for his errors until he acknowledges his Creator. If for example, people understood that sex outside of marriage is a dreadful sin, would we be dealing with HIV/AIDS, fatherless children, breakdown of families, murders arising out of unfaithfulness, divorce and so on???
If those in power had real fear of God, would we know anything like corruption??
In life, you all understand that in most cases , those who are innocent are normally the ones blamed. If you are robbed off your car at night, you will be blamed for driving at night. Man, after messing up this world, will then blame God- who is the Supreme Innocence- for problems of his own making.
When an innocent man watches/previews hatred, corruption, evil and feels the anguish, is his faith reinforced or does he wonder what’s up with God? We all want peace and love and wonder until when suffering will prevail. If only this hatred, horror and evil could come to an impromptu halt.
The only thing God doesn’t allow to flourish on Earth is weakness. Evolution for the past 3billion years has been survival for the fittest, the strongest not of the holiest or sweetest praisers of God. It is those willing to cannibalize each other during tough times and to take from where they can not to as politely.
AIDS and fatherless children don’t need a fear of the creator to prevent, they just need you to dread them (AIDS and fatherless children) more than you dread sex with a condom. Or getting tested with your partner, or using the pill for birth-control. Or if you have an STD, be willing to admit it. I got EBV recently and it just pissed me off. Si rahisi now to admit to every future chick that they might get something just from making out with me.
If you want to end unfaithfulness, don’t acknowledge it is a sin against God, acknowledge that it is an immoral thing you can’t undo. Stay faithful for your partners sake if only because there is no glamour in lying and cheating. It is better to divorce.
As for politicians, just a modicum of respect for the Kenyan society and a sprinkle of humility is enough to prick your conscience whenever you loot what belongs to millions. The problem is, our society is not respect driven, it is based on fear, fear of God, fear of punishment, fear of police, fear of big men in big cars and fear of strange men in unmarked ones.
God doesn’t respect you enough to show himself to you. Who are you to see God? He shows himself to those he respects and their names should be beside his in places of worship. We are all equal, until we internalize that and live it, our leaders will always be more equal than us and they will afford themselves every privilege that comes with that.
@bukuku here we meet again. Why do you always associate earthly wealth with Happiness? society is supposed to be as rotten as you say it is now so that the true believers can triumph and those focused on earthly privileges can perish. Take an example of Kenya. The so called privileged guys have offsprings that are suffering, ask Raila Odinga, I would prefer not living the so called privileged life because it is very lonely.
taking me for example when I got my first job, I stayed somewhere near Kawangware, that life was sweet, neighbors saying hi to each other, every one’s problem was another’s problem. Where I stay now in the so called suburbs life is so lonely. I have never seen my neighbors face, and it has been 3years. That why the bible talks about the poor man. it is painfully true.
