Self taught coding

hello guys, can I get a coding job without a computer science/IT degree?

I also asked KQ for a pilot’s job with my Baba Alinituma qualifications. They are yet to get back to me

Yes if you can code. A lot of good coders don’t have those formal education papers.

Coding just like programming is a talent

What is the difference between these two. I usually confuse them as one.

kuja inbox nikujenge job

Yes I taught mysef coding, I am now well versed with python mostly and i work with some zungus who get me class assignments then they pay. dont look for employment locally

YES, YES AND YES. Simply sharpen and work on your technical skills practically.

@conoiseur the links were very helpful.thanks again

Coding is an open field, you can get jobs even from kenyan IT firms, but you must be very indispensable to them… as long as you can prove that you can deliver and prove to the firm that they cannot survive without you you got a job. My college IT guy never had papers, nigger could be chased but in less than a week they go for him… Go to Multimedia University and you will meet the guy he is called Jared, another one is the famous Jalang’o radio presenter though not in the IT field but in this world you can be anything you want. Jalang’o ndio anafanya degree yake over ten years later.

Coding is a talent!! I’m also working on it

How was the learning curve. I want to teach myself mostly as a hobby for personal use
