We all have some movir habits that have just refused to die. Habits that when you dont follow when watching a movie, you feel as if you watching a vioja mahakamani sitcom. Ill name them. I’d like to hear yours too.
1.Subtitles
I just dont know how to watch serie without subtitles. These are a must.I can’t understand a movie without that. Its just like watching a football match without a commentary.
Whole Series
I dont like watching the season as it unfolds. As in, you wait for some time for an episode to be aired. I prefer waiting for the whole series to air then watch in one if not two sittings.
Limit
What I look for most in a series, is the storyline, then the no of episodes. If it runs for more than 12 episodes in a single series, I automatically lose interest in it.
I can’t stand subtitles in a language I can read. I can tolerate those Korean/Indian/etc, but in a language I can read… distracting as hell. I also can’t stand company --unless they stay dead silent, no dogshit commentary or explaining what we all just saw or laughing at bs jokes. Sigh. I have to watch everything alone --plus, I prefer audio through headphones (TurtleBeach/Sony); great for horror movies.
Used to be the order of the day for me…i download a movie/series, i download the .srt, but i soon realised that in fast paced movies and series, i had to keep sliding a few secs back just to watch the scene because i was busy reading the text. I eventually left it to those movies with part foreign language…feels good to now concentrate on watching and listening…
