I plan to start a mini supermarket in a rural township that neighbours a university. I plan to stock the kawaida duka stuff, have a cereals and grocery section, some Mali mali, mobile money biz ie M-PESA and Equitel and computer things such as scanning, photocopy, printing etc. Any one with experience in this type of business kindly advice.

Instead of having a mini supermarket from the get-go, why not start with a small shop? Study their spending habits, build relationships and earn trust.
Watch closely against pilferage by installing anti theft systems. Lastly don’t forget that college students like to eat, and you can’t go wrong with fast foods.
