These CT Scans are for a Robert Muchongi, a 37 year old man. The patient with the 4 nails is different from the other patient with the 2 nails.
If the patient was fully functional, I would shear off the heads of the nails and leave the other pieces in situ. Cover him with antibiotics for a month so that he doesn’t develop meningitis or encephalitis. Removing them actually causes more damage. It’s like war veterans who walk around with shrapnel in their heads and bodies.
