Postures were shifted. Uncomfortable truths

I loved this video in 2015 and I still love this video in 2019.

Tuliona but this video is on point to date…

Ndio nimeona very insightful but I’m inclined not to comment taking in consideration social contract theory in Kenyan context and it’s implications, coffee industry is dying because it’s not benefitting the farmer but some few middle men and the exporters.

Macadamia too. We can’t export raw. It has to be processed (crushed, roasted) by a cartel that doesn’t allow processors. Afadhali kahawa kuna fair trade. And farmers can apply for licences to roast their beans.

Hoi cartel bado iko? Why is getting a license so hard?

Yeah. Cz the main players will never let new entrants liberalise the sector. They buy at 90 from farmers, process, roast and brand them organic then export them at 400 per kilo

If I follow all the procedures according to ( http://nuts.agricultureauthority.go.ke/index.php/import-guidelines#macadamia ) for getting a licence, is it possible to succeed and export?
