The 4th house i have moved into that has the same shortcut applied.. Inafanya ukiingia nyumba kutoka works jioni unapata nyumba inanuka sewage...hewa chafu inaiingia via sink pipes kitchen and bathroom..

Mimi ni X-plumber ,and whatever @gashwin has told you makes sense. Do you see that sink bottletrap , it reserves some water meant to prevent any return awful smell. same to the bathroom floor trap.Unless that an old skool house whereby, the plumber used direct GI waste pipes....Saitani (TM)

My friend had moved outside country and decided to rent his house out to a mutual friend. It was in leafy areas. Nice compound, nice fixtures in the house etc. The mutual friend was a dim eye. Upon my friends return after a year, he decided to go check on his pride and joy while saying hi to his buddy. Dim eye welcomed the guy into the house and they had a cup of tea. On leaving, my friend swore he was going to sell that house and there was no way he would live there again upon his return.
