Small communities must stop being dominated by big five tribes.

Big tribes likes to bully small tribes. Look at what’s happening in coast. Local people can’t elect leaders on their own because Luos and Kambas migrated in large numbers. Laikipia and Kieni Nyeri was masaai land now it kikuyu land. And Kajiado is following. Mt. Kenya is in Meru yet even a Kikuyu in Kiambu thinks he borders it. The GEMA non sense where small tribes such as Embu thinks they have same stake as Kikuyus. Kisii and Kuria in Nyanza. Yet small tribes occupies strategic important part of Kenya. They don’t Know their worth.

You best shut your mouth those small tribes live because of our mercy on them we can extinguish them in a heart beat if they rebel against us

Why don’t you focus on self-gratification. This issues will fry your brain.

Opussy, the weak always gets subdued and ruled in any society. Huku sisi Bleks we are minorities na omusungu akiamua tutoke tunatolewa mbio. Tukienda China, Han Chinese are the dominant tribe na wao ndio wanarun the show. Pale India Hindutva gangs wanafinya Moslems piropa ilhali next door in Pakistan Christians wanaona muoto from Muslim retards. It’s just how nature works.

As long as you run a democracy, one man-one vote, each with equal power, the bigger tribes will always dominate.

A very bonobo discussion…domination is by the elites. Ukienda rv ama central unapata umasikini kupindukia yet they are among the dominant tribes.

What if they join together and form their country. You will have a small UN dependable state

Then the biggest tribe among them will dominate the others in that nation… when samller tribes break away to form their own nations once more, again the bigger tribe among them shall emerge superior.

Utopic thinking is silly… it’s basically wishing for unicorns because you hate how donkeys look

But you feel for coast people how luos and kambas determine results of elections in their Homeland. You just understand why coast want cession so bad.

And when you go to government jobs you will find them dominating. In police, teachers, government job they take even what’s meant for small ones.

I have never understood this mindset. Money and labour from “watu wa bara” is good, but they resent the same people for participating in local politics.

Nah just the elite within the said communities dominate and not the whole community. Also we didn’t choose to be in the dominant tribes you twit.

What do those smaller tribes bring to the table? In politics the only thing that matters is how many votes you bring.

And while we’re on the subject, people don’t like to admit it but there is some small trickle down benefit from having your elite tribesmen in power. That’s why Kenyans (from the big tribes) are always so quick to shut this discussion down. If it’s solely the elites benefiting, surely they would be very eager to discuss and dismantle such power structures, right? But the speed with which they dismiss the topic betrays them. Even if it’s a futile sense of being ‘in power’ that’s enough for many. Even when we talk about marginalisation, certain communities (which have historically enjoyed proximity to power and some of the trickle down benefits of it) get very agitated. Because when you’ve enjoyed privilege for so long, you feel violated when people you perceive as lesser than you are given their fair share. You feel they are stealing what’s rightfully yours and they don’t deserve it.

@General kahiu Itina, Bonobos type of reasoning. Now if a kamba in coast is elected and he lobbies for a hospital, does that hospital only serve kambas? FYI, all the six counties boundaries sorrounding mt kenya meet at the peak peak.

The question is, can a coast be elected in Ukambani. Also even if they meet at peak Meru run from nanyuki to Embu. So more than half of it is in Meru.

That’s

That’s how kikuyu got land in Lamu and laikipia and Kieni. Because even if those in power we’re getting big chunks of land, they were still giving poor folks some.

With devolution, they can do something about it.

Am surprised you not added the blame to Kikuyus. That is unlike you

Really?

LUOs and KAMBAs determine election results in the COAST?

When last did a LUO or KAMBA win any worthwhile political office?
