SMOKIE MENACE

Knowledge is power and death is the consequence of lack thereof. Unfortunately, crucial information on the correlation between diet & food is hidden from the mainstream media/ sites by cartels in the food industry.

Research categorizes all processed meats as grade 1 carcinogens; the same category as asbestos and cigarettes. In lay man’s lingo: zina cause cancer kama gaseeeer.

This, as well as other poor dietary choices account for the high number of cancer deaths among the uninformed world population.

So the next time unaenda pale kwa msee wa mayai and start devouring smokies senslessly, remember that you are in the same boat as that smoker you know and detest, mwenye akiwasha fegi unafunga mapua

Moderate…if any food is eaten in moderation plus an active lifestyle then no harm shall be done

@Pomegranates

Very informative thread indeed.

So this is why bananas & omena are the staple meal in your pig sty?

I am trying to understand your angle here, so taking poison in moderation is not harmful?

If food has standardized colour, or standardized taste, don’t consume, its not natural, its standardized using harmful chemicals.

If food is in a sealed package, don’t consume.

mimi hufuata hiyo…

Whether we eat it or not, we will still die, rot and get forgotten.

If you won’t be killed by cancer, you will get hit by a train, or burn inside a house, or drown in a river, or step on a banana peel and you slide to the other word, or your wife will burn you while asleep!

So why increase your chances of death? Any wisdom behind it?

Ati poison? Did your mouth foam the last time you ate smokies?

I stopped believing in some of these diet-related research when it dawned to me that Maasai consume roasted meat every now and then but cancer is not one of their major problems.

Raw meat.
Then why do you think the rate of cancer deaths has sky-rocketed in this error of fast foods? Coincidence?

I don’t even know. It could be the environment. But one thing I am sure of is that food is excessively blamed.

Maasai never consume processed meats.

But there are many research telling us to stop eating red meat ati it causes cancer. They never offer a satisfactory answer on the Maasai question.

You people havent been to kitengela lately…the modern maasai millionaire is now obese and sick but still eats his meat just like in the old days …the difference is that he now leads a sedentary life

I presume that if I consume meat but also engage myself in activities that stimulate my metabolism, I am okay?

We miss the point when we only target processed meat. Wheat products, sugar and some oils/fats are worse. My point is regulate the consumption of all foods and lead a very active lifestyle…join a gym if you can’t be on your feet the whole day like some of us.

Red meat never causes cancer. White meat from commercially grown chicken is worse than red meat. ile inagrow na 7 weeks

unprocessed meat,

Traditionally the masai rarely ate meat but rather survived on milk and blood.
