Anyone who has use solar pump with impact sprinklers directly? What’s the efficiency of irrigation.
For those with a solar pump without a battery. What’s your daytime irrigation experience. Esp evaporation issues.

I got the futurepump and just works as advertised. With good sunlight I pump water 6m total head and drive 3 ordinary splinklers satisfactorily. The great thing with the pump is you can install it at home far away from the intake point as it has a very high suction lift

Thanks man. Am planning to buy one. My borehole is like 10m deep. Where did you buy your pump and how much was it?

The pumps total head is 10m so it might not be suitable for you if your borehole is 10m deep

I was looking at this to compare with a drip irrigation system. Max head 100m

I use solar to pump water from a borehole to holding tanks, then irrigate only after dusk. Daytime irrigation causes excessive burns to the roots and stalks. Plus evaporation wastes even more water.[ATTACH=full]148996[/ATTACH]
