SolarCity Business Model

Have been thinking and watching SolarCity (gugu them) performance as a company and though their is hubris about it, do you think that such a model could work in KE? Mkopa have a similar model and seems to have worked successfully would home sized modules in the Kw range work here, small upfront fee and maybe a long lease arrangement where they pay you for power consumption lower than what Kplc would charge or net metering when implemented, ideally placed in controlled development areas (not flats)

Could work. Energy industry here is fraught with cartels. Guys have been fighting this Net Metering thing, but it’ll be one of the best things to happen here.

that business co being crushed on wallstreet, investors cashing out, highly doubt it will work.
