Read from Greece’s economic struggles due to debt defaul. Not that we need to fall to that level…

Kibaki understood these things.

At it’s heart NASA is not about saving Kenya from Jubilooters, NASA is a vehicle for KANU B to get their turn at the trough.

Daktari offcourse. This Uhuruto duo needs lessons on economics 101.

at the very least they should incorporate such guys into the cabinet. huyu Rotich has been a disaster. pia Maillu is a disaster.

It’s all relative

GOP PUSHES FORWARD ON TAX PLAN FOLLOWING ELECTION LOSSES “Despite a growing sense that a Democratic wave could be coming in 2018, House Republicans showed little sign of letting up on their tax proposal Wednesday, with a bill set to move out of committee on a party-line vote Thursday and onto the floor as early as next week.” According to the Congressional Budget Office, the current GOP tax plan would add $1.7 trillion to the national debt.

We spent our future yesterday, so today we worry about tomorrow. Economies run on debt. Nothing new.

National debt is something that parliament should consider and question when approving the annual budget. Unfortunately they are mere rubber stamps. Dont really question anything. Approve everything.

probably it is the truth, govt gobbled up alot of debt, we need self imposed austerity na sustainable spending for us to have a chance of meeting our obligations

One thing to remember is that the United States has never been unable to pay( or manage) its debt. Every borrowing is carefully considered years before it is done. Several countries recently have been unable to do so…Argentina, Greece…etc. When making comparisons, US places a very high ceiling on other countries , so it never makes a good comparison.

leo umenena kama mhenga

I gave you Greece. But remember no countries are in any Way similar. Economies aren’t at the same levels of evolution or maturity. Also, we as individuals aren’t investing enough. So much that even if the economy goes titts up production doesn’t stop. It is not all on the government if everyone wants to be MCA, MP, Governor, Senator etal, while not wanting to innovate.
