The girl said that her mum sent
her to the shop and after
purchasing what she was meant
to, she went back home and gave
her mum 520 shillings in change.
Speaking to the media from her
hospital bed, the girl said that the
mother took the Sh 520 balance
and kept the 20 bob coin
separately from the note. She
could not locate it later and
concluded that the girl took it
and doused her with paraffin
before setting her ablaze.
