Someone explain this

Guys with vehicles, I have noticed a strange this with my car. Every time I pass under high voltage power lines, the engine sign turns on.
Shida inaweza kuwa nini jamaneni?
Mechanic wangu ameshindwa kuexplain.

Does your phone/tablet also say “New hardware Detected” every time a Sinotruck passes by, esp along thika road?

OASN, I think kuna problem ya wiring or grounding/earthing.

Ha ha ha ha!
Not funny.

hahaha mkamba umevuta nini leo

Very funny. Intelligent and informed joke.

mimi ni everytime I go to park near a certain Telecom mast, kufunga na remote inakuwa shida.I have to lock it using the key

My thought. All overhead lines produce electric and magnetic fields. The field is highest directly under the line and falls to the sides. According to Faradays law “Any change in the magnetic environment of a coil of wire will cause a voltage (emf) to be “induced” in the coil”.The change could be produced by changing the magnetic field strength, moving a magnet toward or away from the coil, moving the coil into or out of the magnetic field, rotating the coil relative to the magnet, etc. So your "check engine’ light is somehow activated because of a voltage induced by the overhead cables.
