As I was driving home deep into the night, a car was following me right into the front of the gate. Two guys got out and their very first question: why do not you support us? I got scared and told them yes I am a citizen but also jubilee damu. One guy slapped me- he got a nice punch . Apparently they had listened to my nationalistic arguments @ my local.

You were trailed and some how Kenya's issues become tribal? What we call tribalism is only a way to throw people off from the real thing. Many of the "tribes " we have are just inventions by colonists. Our problems are bigger than that. The divide and rule tactics used by colonists were mbraced by our local leaders as they could see the benefits of them. How many people get elected and have massive support simply because of their "tribe"?
Our issue is this: The policies used by the British before our independence , never ended. Our afican leaders used them themselves for their benefit. Shida ndio hiyo.

You are naive. Tribe may seem to be the factor but it ain't. Political viewpoints are the main issue. If one is authority or has some sort of power and disagrees with your views, you are likely to be harassed.
