The so called cartels have pushed Sonko to the wall. They have gone after his goons, they have withdrawn a big proportion of his security, they have painted him as a failure, etc.
Today, he literally declined to greet Uhunye in Solai. He stood back and watched the president greet the other dignitaries.
Now, in a surprise move, he has nominated Miguna Miguna as the deputy governor. Leteni pop corns, this is getting juicy.
Politrix tupu. There’s no way utafuga nyoka kama pet. It will surely bite you. Sonko is ill adviced to nominate this faceless, cacophonous, melodramatic hibbidabbajeebee into his inner sanctum.
Do you honestly expect Miguna to work and deliver with Sonko?
Sonko is only doing this to hit back at Matiang’i and Kibicho…
Back to his usual juvenile antics.
:D:D:D:D:D:D…I couldn’t believe I literally burst out so loudly when I first heard this!
Yaani this guy Sonko decides to have MM as his deputy? This SURELY is knowingly stepping on an EXPOSED LANDMINE, just like that!
I dont think this has anything to do with dealing with the cartesl. this is all about ego. They withdraw his security, prosecuting his goons, fight with PS kibicho, Statehouse trying to impose county executives, the protocal glitch, the snubed handshake, the Ruto/Handshake angle and Sonko decided on a big F@ck you to the perceived enemy. what better way than bringing in the thorn in the flesh named miguna*2. My hope is that whatever game sonko is playing, hed best let Miguna run the city for him. Even adapt Migunas manifesto that was very progressive.
of course, sonko is using the name “cartels” when referring to state house operatives. he knows who is behind his woes. Even when he refers to PS kibicho he knows who the PS is serving. The speaker has this morning made it clear that Sonko declined the president’s suggestion for DG. Now the national government has literary taken control of the city in a move that makes Sonko look like a failure.
I wish Miguna accepts the appointment, the swamp needs draining. He will uproot all the cartels and hanger-ons, Nairobi needs a man of Miguna X2 caliber, a man who gets things done without a care of what you think of him.
