It’s a viable business that many don’t do but as always do your research on the potential target market…your products will get more attention from people like expatriates and foreign tourists.

I think this might be tricky because many people and I also don’t look for expensive and sophisticated camping gear. I just got mine from the nearest supermarket and it was very cheap. I don’t know about the quality yer, we’ll see, but these things always get dirty and tend to wear out quickly, so that’s why I don’t invest in them. I always look for tips and hints on brightcamping.com so you could try and look there for information. I wish you luck but you should recommend more before staring this because it’s not a cheap investment.

I personally think it’s a good idea and I hope you succeed in this, it seems something interesting. Especially since many people love to go camping and I am sure you will have many clients.
I personally also love to go camping with friends and we always like to try new places and everything to be different. We also like shopping so we always order from many cool things that help us and offer us comfort and fun when we go camping.
I can’t wait to pile up again and leave for some fun.

Hi

I see that there are knowledgeable people here. Can you recommend a good flashlight for hiking?

It’s good that you came to this particular forum. I recently bought myself a new camping lantern because my old one broke down because of water getting into it. The main priority in my search was that the flashlight should be waterproof and shine brightly in the first place. I went shopping but couldn’t find anything except a couple of small flashlights with regular batteries that would run out very quickly. But recently stumbled upon this website https://www.thegrommet.com/products/vont-collapsible-led-lantern-set-of-2 and found a great deal on it, where I settled. The flashlight suited me in all respects, so I took it, and as I later realized, I had not made a wrong choice.

The income from your business will depend on various factors, including location, marketing efforts, and the quality of your products. It’s challenging to predict exact monthly earnings, especially in the early stages. Focus on providing value to your customers, collecting feedback, and gradually expanding your offerings to increase your revenue.

Starting a camping/outdoor equipment business sounds exciting. Here’s a quick rundown:
Capital: The least you can start with varies, but consider a range between $5,000 to $10,000 for essentials like inventory, permits, and marketing.
Suppliers: Look for wholesalers online or attend trade shows. Brands like Coleman, REI, and North Face have wholesale programs.
Challenges: Competition, seasonality, and unpredictable weather can be hurdles. Customer satisfaction is key.
Earnings: Realistically, it varies. In the early months, you might break even, but with hard work, it can grow steadily.
