Now you probably wanted a good music system went to a shop bought one, but then realized hiyo bass haishiki like the one unaskianga kwa matt and upon realizing that, ukajinyamazia tu mwenyewe ukivumilia hiyo mkebe yako na ukimezea mate hiyo bass unaskianga kwa matt.
Don’t worry, you were not alone. Still other people tried to solve that and had to buy individual component speakers and figure out how to connect them which is not an easy task.
There is an easier way. Hawa kina Otieno na Njoroge wenye hu specialize kwa kuwekea hizo matt music systems saw that opportunity and packaged it all for you.
However, I must say that nothing good comes cheap. Or rather, as economists say, you pay for what you get

Note that the quality of these system is in the league of receivers.
These are locally assembled component speakers with a great sound quality.
The audio setup includes:
One 1000 watts 4-channel bridgeable or a monoblock Pioneer Amplifier
One passive 12-inch 1400 watts Pioneer subwoofer
Two Pioneer tweeters
Two 6.5 inch Pioneer Mid-range speakers
A Boschmann equalizer
A Pioneer car stereo having a USB, radio, dvd (though not necessary)
A Power system (to convert AC to DC)
Two big cabinets and two smaller cabinets
You know the good thing about this system is that it benefits all. You as a person can now listen to high quality music while at the same time ensuring kina Otieno and Njoroge who have specialized in assembling those systems get something to put on the table.
The advantage of this system, unlike even a receiver, is that it has an equalizer; a seven band Boschmann equalizer, a gadget which produces ultra HD music but something many manufacturers have removed to save on cost since many people don’t even know it or care.
Such systems (shown above) are already sold in many shops in Nairobi but to be specific, you can check the following vendor:
Yeah… It’s in the league of receivers with the Otienos and Njoroges having made something of quality but cheap.
With receivers, you need to have a budget of not less than 500,000 and professionals to help you just in case you don’t want the hassle of going to various blogs to see how it is connected.
To break the price down for you when dealing with receivers:
The receiver costs somewhere from (40,000 to 200,000)
You will need at least one active subwoofer the likes of Polk, SVS, Klipsch etc which costs somewhere from (70,000 to 300,000)
Kuna pesa ya kina Otieno na Njoroge hapo, ama unataka wanunue hizo parts wasomee kuzi assemble na wazi assemble bure. Lazima wapate pesa ya rent, ya chakula etc
Kuna tax hao watu wanalipa
Hiyo pesa ni kidogo sanaa compared to other international systems of the same features.
Tweeters na midrange huuzwa as a pair, na hizo ndio bei huko luthuli.
Wires nimeeka hapo, haziezi fika 2k coz the amp, eq na Radio are just next to each other. Oxygen free ndio itakula ya hiyo sub depending how far you want it to be
Transport, labour na Taxes sijahesabu juu hiyo ni bei ya kutengeneza hii kitu mwenyewe.
Hizo wiring huwa simple, hawa wasee hujifanya nikama wamefanya electrical engineering wanakula doh tu bure. Unaeza get msee umlipe 1000 akusort hizo wiring zote juu si gari wanafunga.
Refer to this thread ujue hii story si ati nabahatisha
reminds me back in the days
I bought my woofer speaker and ampifier at luthuli in 2006
problem is it didnt have a speaker box so i used 2 old tyres and later bought the speaker box and fixed it myself
damage didnt cost more than 6k and still is in good condition
Setup iko poa but a crossover would make it a bit more home friendly. Tuseme kuwatch movie, hautaki kuskia sauti ya mtu akiongea from the woofer. Ambia Njoroge na Otieno waweke crossover ya audiobank. Na capacitor ya kukeep supply ya iyo monoblock stable ama utachoma power supply.
