This judge was in the same class at Alliance High School (AHS) with George Kegoro (joined in 1982), and just a few years behind Maina Kiai.
The three are buddies, and often have a ‘drink’ together (it is rumoured that when Isaac Lenaola was arrested for drunk-driving two years ago, it was Kegoro who paid his fine in Chambers through lawyer Winston Ngaira, another of their classmates at AHS).
Now, Isaac is on the Supreme Court bench that is hearing the presidential petition, and we all know where Kegoro and Kiai stand on the matter.
All three, incidentally, were allegedly intimately involved in giving moral, financial and legal support to Gladwell Otieno, another anti-Uhuru brigand, when her son was accused of raping and sexually assaulting the four-year old daughter of a domestic worker in 2014 at Muiri Estate, Karen.
The case was never concluded.
Which begs the question: SHOULD JUDGE LENAOLA RECUSE HIMSELF FROM HEARING THE PRESIDENTIAL PETITION FILED BY NASA BY VIRTUE OF THE FACT THAT HE HAS VESTED INTERESTS?
By the way this a complaint I’ve heard more than once. A lot of Busherians have really ferked up, starting from Mbuvi Ngunze at KQ.
And then there are the irritants like Kegoro and Kiai who somehow think they are so bright, and the rest of us so stupid, that they have to tell us how to vote, behave, whatever!
As it has been said earlier, very few people knows their closeness. Again I don’t see this case changing anything. Talkers here have analysed this case and concluded that it’s just a way of Jakuon conceding without hurting the egos of his followers so that they can blame the government.

Assuming he does, which is highly unlikely, can the case still go on? Actually, what happens when one of the judges gets sick in such a way that they can’t hear the case, can a case still continue with an even number of judges or there must be an odd number?
