Suprimo Court

SUPREME COURT upholds Appeal Court decision to deny IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati powers to edit election results from constituencies.

Phew ! ! ! Are we in for another nullification ? In the wider scheme of things.

forrowing

Yet they questioned why he didnt verify forms on 8/8? If on verification they find an error hii wakora wanataka Chebukati afanye nini?

Once again, IEBC has been told that NUMBERS MUST ADD UP. :Philomena mwilu.

And the numbers will add up because only one voter will vote in every nasa stronghold. Hiyo ni hesabu rahisi:)

Ni one voter per each polling station, ama one voter in each Constituency ? Thanks in advance.

GOOD QUESTION

I have asked this question, so many times, na bado hakuna jibu.

Ata sijui:( but either way votes zitakuwa chache…

Kama, each polling station, trust me, there’s another election after the 26th

Thats true.luo nyanza sioni wakivote.if its per poling station.but kama ni per constituency kuna uwezekano some who will vote

Wacha tungoje legal minds.

lawyers in the house kujeni kiasi

I know for a fact, IEBC CANNOT, force voters to vote, but what happens if , polling station X was not opened, due to violence or any other reasons out there, can one, go to court seeking nullification of the elections. Citing violation of, his/her right to vote ?

what i know is …yes.reason wacha lawyers watupee ile iko kwa katiba

As long as by the time zifike constituency, they add up. Let them not send numbers that don’t add up. Period. No harm no foul.

It’s not about how many voters per constituency/county/ polling station. The requirement is that IEBC provide voting materials in each and every polling station and a convenient environment for voting

Thank for the response, keywords hapa ni ’ Convenient Environment for Voting ',

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. If there’s a discrepancy, leave it until the source is brought to light. That’s what a layman like me would surmise the Court implies.
