Suspicion about Huawei and chinese government

So I read that USA is banning Huawei technology ya 5G and other western countries are following. I think they are right . There is something fishy about that country. After the daughter of ceo of Huawei was arrested in Canada,Canadians in China were rounded up and one sentenced to death. Begs a question, why would a Chinese govt be interested in privately owned company affairs to a point of taking it personal when the daughter of the owner is arrested. … what interest does Chinese govt have on that Huawei ?.. tuendeleee…

Si juzi they put spying devices on the building they built for POOR African union to hear all conversations of our leaders!!! Does this ring a bell???. So what makes you think with Huawei they can’t spy on the whole world?

@Soprano you are always busy posting on how Chinese phones fair better than iPhone and the rest,be careful… One day all your data will be used to blackmail you just like the way Canadians in China have been jailed because of sanctions laid on Huawei by USA via Canada as a proxy.

As usual African leaders will say nothing since they have a yoke of debt tied on their balls. They know there is a problem but they can’t say nothing. For once Trump is right.

Huawei is nothing compared to what the US government does You know a guy called Edward Snowden a former CIA agent released information how the US is using the likes of google and facebook to monitor every person on the planet including its European allies

5G is critical tech that huawei is a leader in and the US and it’s allies don’t like that.

They are inconveniencing Huawei so that american companies can catch up. Problem they wont.

How many arrested?
U.S. ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft said last Saturday her country is “deeply concerned” about China’s “unlawful” detention of the two Canadians in what was her first public comments on the cases since China arrested them on Dec. 10 in an apparent attempt to pressure Canada to release Chinese executive Meng Wanzhou, who was arrested Dec. 1 at the request of U.S. authorities.
Meng is the chief financial officer of the Chinese tech giant Huawei and the daughter of its founder. The U.S. wants her extradited to face charges that she committed fraud by misleading banks about Huawei’s business dealings in Iran.
China also re-sentenced a convicted Canadian drug smuggler, Robert Schellenberg, to death after the Meng arrest as part of an apparent campaign of intimidation and retribution against Canada.

-Global News, 15 February.

A govt that does not fight for the interests of its individual and corporate interests is not worth it’s salt.
If you flip the question: Why would the US government arrest the relative of the head of a private corporate entity to enforce an international diplomatic initiative ?

Spies and espionage have existed since the garden of Eden. The only thing that keeps evolving is the methodology. It is the Americans that coined the acronym SIGINT or signals intelligence. So they shouldn’t make sound like a dirty word when China does what they are very good at doing.

There is no way huawei are innocent here. If USA and Canada have suspicion that they are spies to the China government most probably they are. Out of all Chinese companies in North America why single out it. They have substantial evidence that their devices are compromised.

USA arresting Huawei COO is okay but China convicting a drug dealer is not? Brainwashed sheeple logic ndio yako

why is 5G critical, is it critical now or will it be critical in the future - 5G will come in handy when this whole internet of things is up and running very fast, when self driving cars and robots become common. For now I don’t see a reason the west will be running to china to get this 5G, they don’t need it now and by the time they need it they will have developed it to a level they need.

I think when it comes to connectivity the west is well sorted for now,

They are welcome to spy on me

It’s the patents , most 3G and 4G patents are owned by an American company called Qualcomm,so everyone in the world pays this company for alot of money to use those two, they hold a monopoly on this, but right now Huawei is the leader in terms of number of patents registered and are looking to dominate a sector considered important to the next industrial revolution.

I think the China Govt is helping Huawei so that they can have a control over the technology in future when its deployed. There helps comes in R&D and contracts. They sign with EXIM Bank, so for example an Operator who want to rollout 5G will have it cheap in that Huawei will deploy there equipment’s, Operator just sign with EXIM bank as a loan and revenues are shared between Operator and Huawei. That means Operator doesn’t incur any cost in terms of deployment, just wait to share revenues. Who doesn’t want that, in the long run its cheap, and in the bigger picture you capture a huge market. Which mean China will have a bigger stake in controlling what goes around the world, they can spy. 5G is mostly data, and China will have it there fingertips, if they get to control the market and the technology

there must be a reason some western corporations are ready to move to 5G now. by the time the west will have developed their own, huawei will have sold so many units it will have recovered its cost of R&D and will therefore be able to undercut any competition. it will also enjoy immense economies of scale.

Safaricom already doing business with them. 5g

Microsoft, Google, Facebook, NIS, Apple, Cisco have been spying on tyeir users for years, why is it suddenly so painful that a Chinese company is (allegedly) spying…Americans still think they have the monopoly in spying

USA and those western countries has been spying on all of us and we’re still here. Huawei spying on us will not change anything. The west just doesn’t want competition.

Do you understand why she was arrested? I guess you don’t and won’t

Please address the spying allegations at AU headquarters in AA.

When bugs are discovered, the spies of the planting nation just get embarrassed for doing a shoddy job and life goes on. Other than western media trying to make a mountain out of a molehill did you hear those to be spied on make any noise. It was just normal biz in international relations.

So in short the Huawei are welcome to spy on you because west are? Just a hint, the west can spy but at least they have manners kidogo because of their privacy laws and rule of democracy, Chinese culture doesn’t respect rule of privacy law and will mine and mine and leave just shells

If you read my statement " they have our balls hooked on yoke", how will you complain yet they are the ones who built you that building and also give you no strings attached loans

They have manners because of rule of law and privacy legal frameworks ,so they might spy but know massive law suit could follow if discovered. So wanaogopa. But China is an authoritarian country and no one respects the rule of law as long as the communist elite class says so. That’s the difference

They have our balls for now. In the mid 90s it was IMF and World B that had them. Soon EU iki collapse the balls of the poorer EU members will be in China’s hands. International power keeps shifting and soon Russia and China will be calling the shots.
