Unazichapa ndio zifure?

I read somewhere yesterday a statement attributed to the energy CS that despite the heavy rains and flooding, Masinga and other dams in the seven forks system are yet to fill up.

Zinafura kukinyesha…

Mbona river za africa huwa Brown na majuu huwa clear?

Wajinga kukata miti upstream maji inapita na udongo wote fertile.

Wewe hujaona Thames,tembea kijana.

Enda tu majuu ukae

Siku za MO1 kulikua na Taming the Tana initiative, seems they did zero work

There’s going to be lots of flooding in kenya due to climate change. Notice I said climate change, not global warming. It is happening in china and elsewhere as well.

This actually proves that the Tana river is very viable for trading using ships. If the river can be dredged the we can have cargo moving downstream very fast saving transport costs.

And watersports too

Could be possible. A lot of tributaries join the tana after (downstream) of the seven forks

A bit of river engineering and planning it could be worked out really well in pairing up very well with Lamu Port.
