You are beating around the bush and avoiding the issue, discussions about proving guilt are neither here or there about the benefits of alerting suspects in advance of their prosecution and arrest.

The term creative accounting must have flown well above your head considering you only concluded it has to entail burning of receipts. You are yet to tell how many cases the current DPP has won, and petty theft cases don't count.
He is a new DPP. His cases are all in court. So far 0 wins. But he is doing his part, isnt he?

This is how the public relations circus plays out, until there are convictions, it is, what it is:

When the publics memory has faded from fanfare of screaming headlines, the games begin:

Similar games with the Anglo Leasing case which is currently ongoing (same DPP office)

New DPP is new officer. All his cases filed are active in court.
As for taxation, you have the burden to prove your expenses. KRA can claim Ksh 10 million but you say you are liable for Ksh 1 million since Ksh 9 million was expenses. You have to produce the receipts for your expenses. Burn them and you have to pay the Ksh 10 million.
Who has been alerted and hasn’t been apprehended?

if KRA accuses you of tax evasion, how does the burden of proof lies with you?

inakaa wewe you dont follow kenyan news. Lemme update you.Soma hizi links mbili

  1. From the judgement, KRA will not confiscate goods or even attach properties with an intention of recovering taxes.

2. In addition, the taxman is no longer welcome to your office or home to confiscate documents relating to payment of taxes or even carrying out arrests.

3. Justice Odunga also declared illegal the law shifting the burden of proof to the taxpayer when default claim is raised. This means KRA will now be required to provide proof that you have not paid taxes.

If you keep up with the actual cases. You will see that they are destined to flop, see above post. The DPP cannot blame the judge for issues originating in his own office. He (DPP) can prove the skeptics wrong by delivering convictions and cleansing his own office of saboteurs.

Is it her fault that her parents are rich?

Hii yako ni ile @Okiya husema Jealous people's proverbs

That's a basic concept hufundishwa in a marketing/advertising class
Stop turning this into a personal issue. I am not jealous, just realistic.

Sijasomea business ama marketing lakini najua for an idea like premium water to work in competition to already established giants like Coca-Cola one needs a lot of muscle. Coca-Cola is always advertising their Dasani brand lakini sijawahi ona ata advert moja ya Executive water apart from her instagram account. What is a customer base kiasi hadi she makes enough profits to by a Ksh. 12 mil car?

The point I am making is that they have gotten where they are by taking advantage of our weak institutions so if the DPP na DCI have a case wawache kutetewa na peasants hapa. Wakenya wameibiwa mpaka they have developed a Stockholm syndrome.

Have I said anything counter to this?

I am talking about a dispute resolution with the KRA. They claim you owe a certain amount( from their reports) and you claim that yes you received the amount, but your liability is not what they claim because you deducted expenses. Isn’t this why businesses file tax returns?

What is her customer base because her product is based in Kenya. How many people can afford a bottle of branded water?

Whose facilities is she using to produce the water?

What's her profit margin?

These people are stealing taxes that would be used to build schools for the children of poor people alafu the same peasants wanawatetea.
