Turkana oil to the rescue…
It will rescue if we have a refinary but should the crude oil leave by ship, then trust me international market will determine the price of our refined oil coming back. We can’t afford to build a refinary so no turkana rescue for now 
Kenyan Market is supposed to resist the rising international prices. According to some.
I know you’re being sarcastic but consider this;
When crude prices fell from $150 to $30 a barrel how much did the pump price in Kenya change ? Unlike other countries the retail price did not fall by half.
I remember international crude price fell. But our price never dropped and it did after some protests started here in kenya then they reduced by only 5 shillings.
True, and another funny thing, when the prices dip we are given yarns about how the effects are not immediate since we have stock bought on previously higher price, but when it hikes it’s instantaneous. The funny country we call home.
