With the modern keyless vehicles where ignition is by the use of a button, and locking of car doors is by the use of a key fob thieves have deviced new ways to counter this by using car jammers. Car jammers interfere with the signal from your key fob such that when you press your key fob to lock your car it will produce the normal locking sound but then it wont be locked. The thieves access your car and go and sell it. The car jammer also makes it hard to track your car since it interferes with the signals.

I dont have a car but once you lock your car especially in a public place ensure the doors are completely locked.

The sensor is normally on the side. Avoid touching it when trying to check

i prefer not using the driver’s door to check if it’s locked…or alternaively napatia bibi aende na key fob for some distance
