Techies: rooting an Android phone

I want to root my phone but afraid somehow. For those who have rooted how has rooting helped improove your device in performance and usage?

You clearly know nothing about rooting. So why do you want to do it?

Read on Facebook that it helps improve performance of an Android phone. Yet to do research.

you know the real life luca brasi was rarely apprehensive of anything… so stop being afraid

I don’t want to sleep with the fish.

6 million dollar question! I rooted mine using King Root and then I didn’t know what to do with it from there. Then after several weeks, I forgot about it and did an ota update. Sema simu kubrick!!! Soo nane zikaenda hivyo bure tu. It’s good to know why and if you must root the device!

Rooting alone does not bring any benefits but allows you to use apps that make your phone perform things not intended by the manufacturer, eg install a custom rom, over clock the cpu to to speed up phone for heavy tasks or underclock to save battery or automatically hibernate useless background processes consuming your battery and memory. The list is endless

this right here, I want. how?
explain thank you. …

Rooting methods are all over the net, but you solely responsible for whatever happens to your phone in the process of rooting. First things first, whats the make and model of your phone?

I’ve already gone all the way rooting my phone(LG e410) I just need to know what to use to achieve the aforementioned actions

I.e over/underclocking

Hibernate apps use greenify, Crack android apps esp games use lucky patcher, install xposed frame work to do wizadry with your fon and amplify app capabilities eg greenify & lucky patcher, NB: incase of brick u are on ua own. Install custom recovery twrp or cwm to flash apps to system etc.

Block google ads using adaway. (NB: some stubborn developers use server based advertising like how u get whatsapp. these one are unbeatable so delete the rogue app or get cracked mods. Change DNS resolvers to Google/open dns or retain ISP DNS…

Locally maintain internet connection through android firewall. Allow only necessary apps to use net, saves u lots of mbs. I don’t down clock my phone, greenify is sufficient.

If you can root your device you can definitely use google to get cracked apps, (use em at your own privacys’ risk, in fact all mod apps should be blocked from contacting “home” using android firewall… Spyware is real…

I don’t root for the above reasons but 4 the curiosity of playing around with the dang thing… (word of advice, make sure you have a back up stock rom incase you brick your set).

Start by downloading greenify, App for hibernating Wayward processes, titanium backup and any cpu tweaking App. like rom toolbox. As you gain experience, search for xposed intaller to open up a whole new world of smartphone capabilities

I doubt you can brick your phone that way. Maybe a boot loop. I know Samsung servers will not send updates if they sense the phones software has modifications .

It was the Infinix x551.

I already have greenify, I shall look for the rest…thank you

Root if u know how to handle it…
Apps like xposed can brick your phone dead
