Hii kitu nimeona kwa Telkom too many times. I usually buy 12gb xl data weekly. I top up 1k and go to their site to buy the data only to find my credit is 968 or thereabouts.
I usually buy when I have 50mb left so isitumie airtime for data but that still happens.
The last time I bought niliweka 1k ikakataa saying insufficient airtime. Nikaongeza ya 20 still ikakataa. Nikacall customer care akaniambia my balance is now 1004. He then proceeded to buy the xl data from his end and it worked.
Something weird going on. Waache kupatia watu magari and concentrate on fixing their systems.
Not that I know so much or that I work for any of the accused telcos, but from experience I know that you better completely switch off data connection before you top up your line with the intention of buying data bundles. If on and you don’t have an active data bundle, data connection is likely to mess your credit balance seriously.
The concern as raised by the OP could be something else, altogether.
