the makers of this documentary also seem to have some agenda, that water would be used as a political tool by Gaddaffi and questioning why he was using american technology yet he had chased away Americans
but Libyans must be absolutely stupid if after all this they chose to kill Gaddafi
in my opinion what was lacking in that project was an efficient water application method/technology because like using furrows to apply which has about 35% efficiency while they could have used drips which have >90% efficiency the other challenge of saline water the salt deposits after evaporation i dont know how to solve that maybe @inzhener otmetka can assist

I don’t even wanna imagine what, the after war reconstruction of libya tab was/will be. Guess Libyans will go for along time without enjoying revenues from oil, as they have to repay the cost of reconstruction. Democracy is fcuked up.
