Much as all peace loving people embrace sanctions on Russia, one cannot help but marvel at the unprecedented and remarkable unity shown by NATO and allies, and the speed by which economic sanctions have been meted on the Russians, from Putin, his oligarchs to the average citizen in Moscow. Overnight, SWIFT, gone. Access to foreign cash reserves, gone. There’s a ban on most imports even asset seizure and travel restrictions! Russians can no longer make Visa or Mastercard transactions. Russia is now an economic parish isolated and cut off from the world.
This is exactly what will happen when the beast comes into power. Every single human being on earth will be forced to take the mark, 666. It doesn’t matter if you hide inside a nook and cranny in Turkana. No one will escape the beast. The Bible says the beast will cause ALL, to receive the mark or DIE.
This couldn’t have happened in the 15th century…so how did John the revelator know that at some point in future there would be globalized commerce? He didn’t know, but God showed him. Can’t you see that we are at the end? Just a few months ago, people used to say that a nuclear war was an impossibility because of MAD. Wake up before it’s too late!!

After many hours of research and soul searching, I believe the mark of the beast is the Islamic shahada.

The mark of the beast is a badge of servitude. I believe it is the shahada, Muslim proclamation of faith.
The shahada is as follows: “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammed is his prophet.” Remember that Allah is Satan, therefore when a person declares the shahada, they are basically saying “there is no god but Satan.”
(As an aside, there’s no way this epoch ends without a massive showdown between Ishmael and Isaac. ) For Isaac to increase Ishmael must die, Ishmael is sin the mount of Hagar but Isaac represents Jerusalem. Read Galatians 4)
The inscription of this declaration is already worn as a badge by millions on the forehead or right arm. It can be seen on Muslim demonstrators and jihadists everywhere.
It is also quite likely that the Mark carries just as much meaning in the spiritual sense—meaning that a simple declaration of belief in Allah would spiritually mark one as a follower of the Beast. Therefore, in God’s eyes, it would not necessarily be required for one to outwardly wear the Mark in order to be counted among the followers of Allah.
We find scriptural support for this concept in the Book of Revelation, which speaks of God’s people being “sealed” (Revelation 7:4) with the “Father’s name written on their foreheads” (Revelation 14:1). This denotes a spiritual seal that identifies one as belonging to God.
It is interesting to note that the Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God are both names that are placed on the foreheads of the people who receive them. Evidently, the Beast is attempting to duplicate God’s program by similarly inscribing his mark, or name, on the foreheads of his followers. This tendency to counterfeit the work of God is a recurring theme and is also a distinctive satanic trait which is grounded in the fact that Satan wishes to be like God and actually desires to accept worship in place of Him.
The problem with most Christians is that they don’t read any other books except the bible. Have you ever considered that 666 could refer to something else entirely? The scholarly explanation is actually more historical than religious. At the time of writing Revelations, the Romans were in charge and constantly persecuting Christians. The leader at the time was Nero. How does this relate to 666? Well, at the time they had this idea of representing names with numerals. Nero in Hebrew/Greek numerals is 666 or 616, and as you can guess, the coins at the time had his picture. When the Christians at the time are talking of falling of the beast they are just hoping that Nero and the Roman Empire falls. Oh, and btw, Nero was nicknamed the beast. When you consider the revelation verse everything becomes clearer: “One who understands can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a person. His number is six hundred and sixty-six” (Rev. 13:18)”. It’s just a clever riddle.
Anything else is probably nonsense but again, no one can stop you from your beliefs.
