We bumped into one of the sons at some estblishment here…I was with a pal of mine from Nairobi whom they were old school friends with his elder siblings …and it got me thinking why couldn’t this children salvage the empire that their father had built…the guy was well articulated, upper class british accent( zile za expensive private UK schools) well dressed (very) and he seemed to be quite In touch with the business environment of us Diani locals…well back to my question with all that education, exposure and training why couldn’t the children salvage the business …just yesterday on my morning stroll on the beach I passed by their former crown jewel Alliance Safari Hotel which has been closed for decades and Is crumbling away ( pics attached)…the dad struggled to build an empire for his children now it seems it’s all turning to waste
