I do not even come from Marigat.I have never been even to that place. I come from Sotik Sub County in Bomet. My question has just been simple, why are we providing priority to well rain fed areas as opposed to those in dire need of water when it comes to budgetary allocation, but someone somewhere just because of the tribal disease that afflict us would like to turn this issue to be about whether Ruto stole the dam money or not and is responsible for our entire drought problems just because he saw my name Lang'at Kipro

Dams are built where it rains, idiot.

There's a science to it sio kujenga tu Pokot ati because they need water. You first assess the best catchment area(s), then build the dam and distribute to the citizens including those in the parched zones.

Na wizi ni mbaya hauwezi sifiwa ukiwa mwizi, Kalenjin or otherwise.

It is you who is idiot,Those arid and desert areas have seasonal rivers and sometimes experiences rain though it can be little, dams and water pans can be built to act as water reservoirs so as to hold water to be used during the dry seasons when the seasonal rivers have dried up and the rain is not forthcoming. I have seen this work in some parts of Narok
