The science behind sitting position and concentration

When your head, neck and spine are erect you can think a lot better and naturally your concentration increases.

I use to not sit erect while studying which made me unable to grasp the subject.

I have been fortunate enough to receive an advice from a monk who explained me the importance of sitting upright and erect.

You yourself can try it now. You will start to see and feel the difference.

It may me tough for many to sit erect for long hours but as you go on practicing, sitting erect for long hours won’t be an issue.

The science behind sitting erect which contributes good concentration is that the spine contains nerves that are directly connected to your brain which starts from the bottom of the spine and meets up to your brain. When your posture is crooked or not erect then these nerves which send currents to your brain are blocked which result in improper functioning of brain and leads to poor concentration and less thinking power.

So, from now on start sitting erect with your head, neck and spine in a straight line.

Tip - For studying always use a table and a chair which will help you to sit erect for longer hours.
