The shame of a nation. The Kenyan reality.

On a Sunday like this one cannot help but wonder and be perplexed that every single Kenyan including the small children... that all these citizens cannot trust a fellow Kenyan to run Safaricom.

It is a shame.

That we absolutely believe that a fellow Kenyan cannot be trusted with such resources. Yaani tumefika kiwango hio.

(Kwanza niliskia mkisema ni Kidero... roho safi hio Mpesa wacha ikae basi.)

Sasa foreignors dunia mzima huwa wanatuangalia aje tukisema hivyo? That Magufuli alisema tu, "No thanks! Huyo mrembo wenu hapana. Tungependa sana... aiii... lakini hapana. No but no thanks!!"

Na hata sisi tulielewa. No bad blood Magufuli. We know she is a Kenyan. We don't blame you. We even know what she did with her company Prado but---aaa this be Kenya.

Afande Kiprop ameongezea hapo chini that despite our tribes, because in deed in 2022 just like in any other election we will vote according to the tribal persuasion, that despite our "persuasion" it is obvious that we will select just another visionless thug. Ni kitu obvious na sio ati hatujui. Atakuwa tu gathisha gatheca mwingine.

Na watu watakuwa tu hapa ktalk, complaining as usual and doing nothing about it.

The question then comes in. A question that has been asked billions of times in Kenya : Is it that we totally lack morally upright leaders? Or is it that the morally upright Kenyans have refused to rise to the occasion... or is it that a Kenyan cannot live without being a visionless, thug?

I think the way our society is structured in terms of culture and values , it prevents the visionary and morally upright leaders from rising to power...the system and the culture of our society suppresses the visionary and morally upright from easily rising to top echelons of leadership

Take an example of someone like Waititu who often claims to have risen from 'poverty' from the slums of Kibera or wherever ... I assume he has given his own kids some top notch education, the type he probably never had. Whether wali perform poa kwa shule or not hio ni shauri yao.

Huyu Waititu then becomes Governor and fowards half a billion to his daughter or his kids' bank accounts/ fake businesses.

So what was the point of giving his kids such an excellent headstart in life via education if he knew akikuwa governor atawasukumia half a B or 200 million. (Same applies to Obado.)

Si afadhali Waititu ama Obado wangesomesha slum kids juu their kids will never work or use their degrees... or brains for that matter.

Ushasomea Masters degree pale daystar ama majuu... ukafanyiwa graduation bash haikai... and before you even write a CV, ushasukumiwa half a B, plus a home(s) in the leafy burbs... 3 or 4 guzzlers for you and your fiancé... hata hio masomo ilikuwa ya nini?

we don't value ourselves. we don't appreciate our own. we are out own enemies. we steal from ourselves, and the foreign enemy takes advantage of our division to hold us by the balls. when locusts are fighting who benefits?kunguru.

all the thriving businesses in kenya are foreign owned. all our major contracts at the county are held by the Chinese, who pay the usual 20% bribe.

we worship white peasants. we sabotage our own.

we clear the way for EABL, and put road blocks for our own local beer.

we put roadblocks for our own farmers, and remove all hudles for importation of yellow maize from the white man.

any governor hosting white men in his office twice a week will be branded the most hardworking governor in Kenya.

If you arrest a Chinese in kenya the embassy will follow up the case, and in 24 hours the Chinese will be a free man, on a flight back home, ukishikwa tu pale Mwanza tz nobody will care about you, our ambassador to TZ will be happy with you rotting in a Tanzanian jail. We don't care for our citizens.

Uganda has land at Naivasha to build their ICD, South Sudan the same, Kenya has no land at Naivasha to build ICD. We will lease from individuals.

Leo @patco umeongea kama watu mia. Even or churches are corrupt who are we to trust. We need a kagame in Kenya .Someone with values and integrity to build our institutions. The sole reason that USA thrives is the fact that they have very strong institutions with stable foundations. f**k us monkeys who ruin everything including thinking of pulling a riwe riwalo.

Our leaders are a reflection of our society, yaani tukijiangalia kwa Kioo, tuko Nancy watu wa dawa, Sonko, Joho, wasanyaji wa chochote mashamba, Chapaa, Kalesinga, Baba, walevi kama Gathica, few good men pia Kama Prof..........hii ndio Kenya, wakora wengi kuliko waaminifu,
It starts with you.......utafunza kababaa na kamum nini, ukora au uaminifu

Mimi hizi hohe hahe za serikali I don't understand....so the same Gov't recruits a white guy for Kenya Airways but is demanding a local for a foreign - majority owned but local company??? Wakwende kabisa.

Certainly there are competent Kenyans who can run blue chips...hio is hoja, one ran America..the problem is our local culture and influences won't let a local him /her prosper if appointed.
