the shroud of turin

the shroud of Turin is a controversial piece of cloth, whether true or false, the piece of cloth contains a face of a man who seems to have suffered a great deal of pain,to be precise, the face has scars at the fore head {probably thorns} He also has scars on his hand and feet and so on
what marvelous people is that there is no scientific explanation on how the photo was embroiled o the piece of cloth, one of the theories is that only light could do so,a scientific test on the cloth proved that there is no actual ink that had been used to create the photo

my question is,is this the final prove that JESUS CHRIST existed on earth and that the new testament is true???

Some documentary I watched claimed that the Shroud was what Jesus was clad in during his torture, that the image of the face is that of Jesus. If only I could verify that.

embroiled? please check again if this is what you mean…

Its just some piece of cloth and the anonymity of its origin doesnt warrant religious people to claim, anything. some piece of cloth from some ancient morgue or some artists gallery doesnt mean anything.

It could be anyone’s face. The pope of that time was a powerful man and he could have manipulated people to believe that it was Jesus’ face on that kitambaa.

It’s shrouded in secrecy bcoz true it’s the cloth that jesus was wrapped in wen he was put in the grave but what it proves is that he was still bleeding and dead men don’t bleed.

carbon dating dates the clothe to the 1300s more than a millenium after the death

It was cheap mystery. Creators of mysteries want to keep people busy trying to unravel things that never were. Oh, how we love the mysteries.

I am not well versed with matters religion, yangu ni kusoma tu comments zenu hoping I will learn something.

The catholic church in the past inserted doctrines in Christianity that did not add any value to the religion to make it more acceptable to the masses.

hehehe…Comments hapa ni kali kali.

Kethi alleges otherwise.

We can also add pyramids of Giza, bermuda’s triangle, and that place in kitui where water flows upwards to the JC story.
Jesus and that mason disciple(is it simon?) built the pyramids and he actually walked on water at bermuda n thats why the sea never settle’s there.

The Cloud of Turin is a Fraud.

After years of discussion, the Holy See permitted radiocarbon dating on portions of a swatch taken from a corner of the shroud. Independent tests in 1988 at the University of Oxford, the University of Arizona, and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology concluded with 95% confidence that the shroud material dated to 1260–1390 AD.[72] This 13th to 14th century dating is much too recent for the shroud to have been associated with Jesus of Nazareth.

I have an issue with Christian’s obsession with relics. Mara shroud of turin, mara the holy grail, mara ile nyama na blood ya @karl marx, mara cross (and we know JC was never crucified on a cross). I wonder why an idiot somewhere hasn’t thought of the holy poop.

God calls these things IDOLS, and warns us against having anything to go with them.

The idea of people being washed clean as snow by the blood of jesus(human blood) and eating a body and drinking the blood(last supper) is gross enough and past the holy poop level.

I hve nerver hard of this one…where was he crucified on?
