The people or entities in our world are both strange and funny! The church struggled for decades to fund raise for restoration works, in less than 24hrs since a fire broke out at the Notre-Dame cathedral in France, they have secured almost $340 million in donations to rebuild the damaged church.
The European Council President Donald Tusk has already called on the EU member states to rally round, in order to reconstruct the church building.
One building in the heart of Europe, receiving so much attention, yet they have aided the destruction of so much more across the globe and not a donation in sight.
The world has numerous scattered broken temples, churches etc. Mostly constructed at the height of great human suffering. How is it, people are willing to commit millions to re-build a building which in time will join the multitude of strewed structures, yet they cannot commit a $ to the cause of the living?
Bernard Arnault, the richest person in, pledged to donate $226 million, they have decided to release the money from The Artemis funds.
French oil and gas giant Total also pledged $113 million
More donations continue to be received from well-wishers across the world.
Antipater of Sidon, compiled and described a list of the Seven Wonder (2nd century BC), none of which stand today;
