Huyu jamaa anadhani hizi ni enzi za zamani. Rubbish!

This guy can go fuck himself na hiyo self-importance anajiona nayo. A passport is a right of every Kenyan, doesn’t matter if they are travelling soon or after 2 years.

Ako na point shida ni wakenya wamependa story za deadline sana.

Or even never travel, it is an ID. Sooo wrong.

Upuss. Hapa gava ndio haikujipanga. You implement new rules and don’t anticipate a crisis? Very useless leaders we have.

hakuna point ako nayo, His work is to issue passports and not to dictate when people should apply for 1

Karibu.

And they will come begging Kenyans to wake up on that day in 2022???..how about if people dug in their heels and refused to support any of them.
Actually they are already begging with their silly shenanigans, hoodwinking na mengine. Mtu ajishugulishe na kwake is my message to Yunomi, Langat and Maizeroaster.

I disagree with you…while a passport is the right of every Kenyan, I think it is only fair that they prioritize issuance to urgent/emergency cases. As much as they created this crisis in the first place by not providing clarity from the outset that the issuance of the passports will continue even beyond the deadline, I would hate to have me/a sick relative going for urgent medical treatment abroad be at the issuance center at 4:00am and wait a whole of 8 hours just because there are these kinds of crowds. They are trying to take corrective action by ensuring that urgent cases are prioritized. Wengine wetu ambao hatuna immediate travel plans can go anytime thereafter…na kama uko na urgent travel, sifikiri unaeza nyimwa chance ukienda hapo hata leo

fvck that pompous idiot and fvck the 4x4 he came driving in.

Issuance ya E passports ilianza 2017, Kenyans wakaambiwa as from Sept 2019 only E passports will be in use, lakini kama kawa the tuko na time syndrome took over. Sahi juu jam ni kubwa it is only in order waki classify urgency ya your passport.

What govt should now do is to sensitize the public that u can still apply after the deadline.

That’s your own problem. the other people taking their time to line even when they are not travelling soon are doing that because they know the importance of having one and also because they dont want to inconvenience other people applying for 1 in future when they need to travel. Having one even if you dont need to travel ensures that next time there is an emergency you will just go apply for a visa and not complain at other people applying for their own.

if you dont want to line go to Kisii, Embu, Nakuru, Kisumu etc. there are no lines there. Si lazima mjaze Nairobi

Stale news

Yes his work is to issue passport but yet there is a crisis created by over demand at the expense of those who need it most .you have to do surgery in India , unakuja hapo unapata 4000 people on the line and most just want it to keep it incase they find a deal to go to dubai. You end up dying on line waiting.

Solution : let every post office in Kenya have a capacity to take application, fingerprint and issue passport. They collect paperworks ,take pic, take fingerprints and send it to nyayo house. Then you come and collect it from same post office. An independent customer complaint office to be set up to handle corruption allegations against these post office employees.

Isnt that directive for the nairobi office pekee…sidhani it extends to those other offices

The guy has a point…valid points.

The guy has a point, don’t know this people crying it is yheir right to have a passport gather dust in a drawer waiting for a miracle. I know people who are to travel next month, receiving the new passport even after applying now takes 2 months instead of 2 weeks because some people claim its their right not to wait for 9 weeks to have a passport that will only be used next year.
Some will apply and not even come pick until they need to travel, the millions of passports that lie in nyayo stores. If you inconvenience others from using the document on time and you are not going to use it, are you blocking someone’s else’s rights?
Govt should have been better prepared but that cant be fixed in a day.

First come first served, ghaseer. The Immigration department should come up with measures to speed up applications for those who have emergencies. In fact I think it exists, where you’re charged slightly more if you want your passport to be processed faster. It’s actually an extra source of income. Everything else is just making excuses for mediocrity.

First come, first serve.
