Thinking of getting China phone

Wanakijiji, I have been a Nokia…then Samsung guy all along. Currently using S7 that I got in Jan 2016. No complaints besides the cracked screen protector thanks to my kids. Up to now, I had never given China phones a second thought though I see them increasing in number around me.
Sasa naona kuna simu inaitwa Xiaomi Mi A3 launching this July. Simu iko na 42MP camera and 32MP front camera. Really? My s7 has 12MP. Na vitu zingine sijui android 9.
This phone is about USD 300 on Aliexpress (bought my s7 for 60k in 2016).
Should I try it?
Is buying a phone on Aliexpress safe?
Are Xiaomi phones good?
Thanks in advance.

Nunua Tu utapata reviews kwa manual.

Who’s going to tell our brother here Simu (karibu) zote including hizo brand ametaja hutengenezewa China.

That’s besides the point. China can make iPhones but on quality specifications given to them by Apple. I am talking about China brands.

Get a phone in Kenya covered by a local warranty.

Hiyo 300$ spend it hivi:

Xiaomi redmi Note 7, 4GB Memory and 128GB Storage = 24000
Xiaomi Mi band 3 = 3-4K_ish

the extra 2k tuma kwa Deorro as consultancy fees or buy earphones, screen protector or Case nayo

All these utapata at official xiaomi SHop hapo the Hub Mall with Kenyan warranty from Xiaomi wenyewe, also you will get those that support Kenyan LTE bands

ukitaka review ya hiyo simu angalia hii thread ya @bishopheahmund https://www.kenyatalk.com/index.php?threads/xiaomi-fanboys………-redmi-note-7-user-review-and-rooting-guide.116121/#post-2303113

alternatively, for 29k import this xiaomi K20 which is better than Redmi Note 7 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Xiaomi-Redmi-K20-Mi-9T-6GB-64GB-Global-Version-Snapdragon-730-48MP-Camera-4000mAh-6-39/33028402200.html?
Lipa @incognitus 2k and you will have it in less than a week

Xiaomi ziko na ads. So weird

flash EU ROM

You think akina Oppo Xiaomi and Huawei have become the biggest OEMs because of making shitty phones? Ingia Internet and look for reviews

hapa tunaogelea story za kuroot which is not really friendly for an average guy

Buda unajua Kuroot na kuflash ni nini ama unapyuka tu?

Now that’s something I didn’t know…

Why not the one I have identified? It looks superior to the redmi Note 7 on gsmarena comparison.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019: 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage, 4000 MaH battery, triple cameras. Carrefour, KSh. 24,999. The Xiaomi has more features, but they are both decent mid-range handsets.

ebu weka comparisons tuone

$300 ni bei ya redmi Note 7 pro with SD 675 or Redmi K20 with sd 730, if you want to import

Android one = Pure android = Meffi. I prefer skinned androids
Megapixel count dont mean shit in camera quality

I noticed that xiaomi phones are more expensive at the hub official store than Avechi or mi-shop Kenya I.e https://www.mi-store.co.ke/ . What gives…mi 9 is 51k at the hub but is about 42-45k. What gives? Is it advisable to buy from these other guys?

Hata si nilikuwa nikiambia @Deorro hapa vile Xiaomi phones are way cheaper Avechi na Jumia.
